Privacy Policy

BEDOU (“BEDOU,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a brand operated by House of Pitches, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“House of Pitches”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through bedou.shop (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We currently collect information only when you voluntarily submit it through a form on the Site:

Pre-order reservations. When you reserve a BEDOU stick, we collect your first name, email address, colorway preference, quantity, country, and any optional note you provide. No payment information is collected at reservation — reservations do not charge you and do not require a card.

Newsletter sign-up. When you join our list for a launch discount, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers on the Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy and our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Hold and track your pre-launch reservation, and contact you when BEDOU is ready to ship or purchase;
• Send you the launch updates and discount code you signed up for, if you opted in;
• Respond to questions you send us; and
• Improve the Site and prepare for launch.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site and process the information above on our behalf, currently:

• Supabase — database hosting for reservation and sign-up records.
• Resend — delivery of confirmation and transactional emails.
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure for the Site.

Each provider is contractually restricted to using your information only to provide services to us.

4. Data Retention

We retain reservation and newsletter records for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose they were collected for — including contacting you at launch — or until you ask us to delete them.

5. Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop receiving marketing emails from us, at any time by emailing privacy@bedou.shop. Marketing emails also include an unsubscribe link.

6. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site and product develop. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
